Ongoing Activities

HAPPY HOUR/TGIF:

We meet each Friday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at various Lansing area establishments; from the west to the east side and in between. Bring a friend. It is a great way to unwind from the week and socialize with others. Tables are reserved and in the summer months, we are on the patios. WINTER INDOOR TENNIS:

We play tennis at the MSU Indoor Tennis Facility, 3571 East Mt. Hope Ave., East Lansing. If you are interested in playing, contact Rich Rybicki at (517) 663-1854 or richrybick@yahoo.com for more information and to be put on the email list. The email list is the contact point. All skill levels are welcome.

SUMMER SOCIAL TENNIS:

We play outdoors at the Letts Community Center, a Lansing city park on 1220 West Kalamazoo Street just west of Martin Luther King Boulevard. Play begins at 5:15 p.m. Thursdays and all skill levels are welcome. The email is the contact point. WALKING THE RIVER TRAIL:

Every Monday and Wednesday at 10:15 a.m. we meet in the parking lot at Maguire Park on 4900 N Aurelius Rd just north of Jolly Rd.  The usual distance is 4 miles to Hawk Island Park and back. We walk all four seasons in various types of weather. JUG & MUG BOOK CLUB:

The Book Club gets together every six weeks or so to chitchat, discuss a chosen book, eat snacks and choose the next book to read. If you are interested in joining the Book Club, contact Maryanne Illman, (517) 898-9395 (cell) or maryanneillman@yahoo.com to get on the contact list.

SINGING AT BURCHAM HILLS:
